Value Tree List

A Value Tree List is a list building block that can be used for value tree statements. This type of list contains attributes for positioning of the blocks and is used for Value Tree Reports.

Order Use the order attribute to reorder the rows. 1, 2, 3... Max + 1
Item Label The default name of the item is displayed. n/a n/a
Dimension1 ...Dimension n A column for each of the dimension on which the list is created. A member or a variable can be selected Member or a Variable n/a
Drill By assigning a drill list to a row, a drill icon will appear in front of the line in the report. This drill list allows the end-user to drill to that list. If a dimension member of an item is a parent in the dimension hierarchy then the end user can also assign a dynamic drill to an item instead of another list. Empty, Populated Empty

X Coordinate

The X coordinate defines the position of the tree member on the X Axis, see screenshot for the X positions.

The Y coordinate defines the position of the tree member on the Y Axis, see screenshot for the Y positions.

Unary Operator

The unary operator defines the symbol (See screenshot) in front of each tree member.

Select a list item so that the tree member will be connected with a line to the parent tree member.

Format

The format attribute will specify the look and feel of the row. This format is not applied to the header of the row, but only to its values.

Header

The header format, defines how the row header should be formatted. The available values are identical with the ones used by the "Format" attribute, but applied only on the row header.

Reverse Sign

When this attribute is set to yes, the sign will be flipped.

Suppress Value

This value sets automatic row suppressing, click on the type to see the suppressing options.

Allows you to set the conditions for not suppressing the Variance, by using a pick list

Redirect Report Use this field to select an existing report that will be available through a hyperlink. Empty, Populated Empty

Note: When you redirect to a report of type Multi-Column and that report has the same Value Tree List as an Item Selector, the Multi-Column report will automatically select the tree member where it was redirected from.
