Data export using FDX

Custom business rule CXO_FDX can be used to improve performance while exporting data from OneStream using its BRApi. This business rule is defined under Extensibility Rules. The data is sent to CXO using existing APIs being used for the CXO_GetData sequence step.  The CXO_FDX business rule will assign it to a sequence step called CXO_GetData_FDX.

For data exporting CXO_GetData, located under Application → Data Management → Data Management Group → Data Exporting is used. Use CXO_GetData_FDX to ‘Execute Business Rule’..
By default CXO_GetData_FDX is added as a default step for exporting data as seen below: This step (now default) will improve performance drastically.

The CXO_GetData sequence can be used and by reverting the change, as seen below:
