POV Fixes
There is an option to fix the Point of View before using a Storyboard. Fixing POV allows the user to set a default POV for any combination of dimension(s). Check the box next to the Dimension you would like to fix and select the required member from the Pick List or use the member search functionality.
Where is it used?
The POV can be fixed when you:
- Play a Storyboard
- Copy a Storyboard
- Create a Storyboard View
- Export a Storyboard
Example Usage
- Printout a management book for a single currency
- Share a Storyboard for one single operational entity using Export_Storyboard
- Run a Storyboard for a new period
Edit POV setup
Owner and editors can restrict the dimensions that end users can set before running the storyboard.
Hiding some of the dimensions will make it more intuitive to use the Set POV and Play option, especially for larger storyboards and storyboard with multi-source.
