Direct Connector Configuration

Direct connectors are used to connect to free models. A free model is a Source Systems that is not connected through an Integration Adapter. A free model is typically an OLAP system that already exists before CXO was implemented.

A free model has the following characteristics:

• It needs to match the CXODimension requirements.
• If it does not match these requirements, dimensions need to be split.
• Dimensions need to mapped.
• A Period Frequency table has to be setup in order for CXO to understand the period structure.
• Security Filters might need to be applied to hide irrelevant parts of the model.
