Configure SMTP Server

SMTP settings are required for sending email from CXO to its users. 

Step-by-step guide

You set it up once in the Configurator on the Maintenance tab:

The values for these fields are quite specific for the organization, the IT department can probably help with this.

• Name of the SMTP server. Address of the SMTP server used. In this case we use the one from Gmail, but it can also be a Microsoft SMTP server or an internal SMTP server. IT department can help with this.
• Port of the SMTP server. This depends on the server used, please check with IT
• User Name. A valid email account for the configured SMTP server.
• Password. Password of the account
• Use SSL. To use SSL or not
• Sender Name. Name of the sender in the received email, this will probably be CXO.
• Sender Email. Email of the sender in the received email, this could be something like noreply@cxo-cockpit.com
